donations
Tuesday, March 15, 2011 || 7:57 PM

japan just got hit my a massive 8.9/9.0 earthquake
i want to do something about it
to help them
then finally, the singapore govt gave the green light to sg red cross to accept donation
so now they are accepting
mercy relief too
but then others want to donate resources
like food, blanket, water
however, these resources cant be kept can they?
they can only be for the people to consume and use isnt it so?
i dont want to be just that
i dont beg for my money to be used on the victims wellbeing
i just want them to distribute the money to the required areas
like into rebuilding the demolished towns
to establish back a connection
all these needs money
and if u donate resources, how many ppl can u help?
how much can u feed or clothe these ppl?
sorry. i dont want to donate resources
i think its hard to transport them and its not as feasible as money
where they can spend on what is really needed
for japan, the best that i can help now
is to donate money
and pray that they will recover from such a blow
my heart just breaks for them
but seeing their united front
i'm even more in awe of their spirit
