“life will be better in spring”
January 2011 February 2011 March 2011 April 2011 May 2011 June 2011 August 2011 September 2011 January 2012 February 2012 July 2012 September 2012 December 2012 June 2013

second tooth extraction
Monday, March 14, 2011 || 7:43 PM

ah so.. 5 days after my first tooth extraction
went for the second one to pluck the remaining 2 tooth out.
so now i have 4 holes in my gums
and the food are getting stuck there pretty much of the time
tsk tsk.
really irritates the gum and causing me pain

well.. so my tooth is as equally stubborn as its owner
haha
my upper tooth just refuse to come out no matter how the dentist tugged and pulled
and after a while
i heard this loud crack
omg
that instant was horrifying
cos i know need surgery to take out the stubborn roots
i also have to endure more pain :(
sigh sigh sigh
and doesnt help when the assistant like doesnt know stuff
really scared the wits out of me

so the dentist was like take the blade and the sutures for me
prepare this prepare that
and the mini operation began
sliced into my gum
thanks to the LA, i couldnt feel a single thing
how cool is that?
haha!
but then at that point i was thinking cool or not
i was thinking my poor gum has to be opened :(

after some time and amount of poking ard my opened gum,
the dentist finally took out the 2 stubborn roots
relief course through me
but then i look at the suture and i was all scared again
its really those operation sutures
and i only see them on patients with surgical wounds
not on me
and i always think that suturing quite painful
ok. it is
the part where the dentist sutured without the LA was PAIN!
the moment he poked in the needle and thread it
pain just shot through my gums and lips
but well.. those that were under LA
all i felt was sth going through my gums
so thankful for that

the dentist did give me extra painkillers after that
more mefenamic acid and some naproxen sodium 275mg
ok la.. i have to say the following few days no pain
all thanks to drugs
but then now i'm living drug free (my painkillers ran out)
so yea.. thankfully the sutures dont hurt
just that the dentist put in separators between my molar tooth i think
those hurt when i bite on food
eeps..
so now i'm only reduced to soft diet
yes
like rice in soup, or rice drenched in lots and lots of gravy, porridge, noodles, mashed potato
ath soft u name it, i'm eating it
i cant wait to get my solid diet back!
omg
i'm like starving myself from the lack of food or insufficient food that i'm eating
so hungry >n<
cant wait for next mth to come
when my braces are settled and i can eat PROPER FOOD ONCE MORE
